Terms of Service

Welcome to Savor. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Savor mobile application, website, services, features, content, subscriptions, and related tools (collectively, the "Service"). The Service is operated by 2Gen Media ("Company," "we," "us," or "our").

By downloading, accessing, creating an account, purchasing a subscription, or using Savor, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. What Savor Does

Savor is a health and wellness app designed to help users better understand their meals and how those meals may support their personal health goals. The Service may allow users to scan meals, receive meal scores, view estimated nutrition information, track daily progress, receive coaching-style insights, and get simple suggestions related to goals such as weight management, energy, focus, wellness, fitness, body composition, skin, and sleep. Savor is intended for general wellness, education, habit-building, and informational purposes only.

2. Not Medical Advice

Savor does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or professional healthcare services. The Service is not a substitute for advice from a doctor, registered dietitian, nutritionist, therapist, or other qualified healthcare professional. You should not use Savor to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease, medical condition, eating disorder, allergy, or health issue. Always seek professional medical advice before making major changes to your diet, exercise, supplement use, medication, or health routine. If you have a medical condition, are pregnant, are nursing, have food allergies, have a history of disordered eating, or are under medical supervision, you should speak with a qualified professional before using the Service. If you experience a medical emergency, call emergency services immediately.

3. Nutrition and Meal Estimates

Savor may use artificial intelligence, user input, food databases, visual recognition, and other tools to estimate meal ingredients, calories, macros, nutrition values, meal scores, and health-related insights. These estimates may be incomplete, inaccurate, or different from the actual food you ate. Food portions, preparation methods, ingredients, brands, sauces, oils, and hidden items can affect the accuracy of results. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying any information before relying on it. Savor is not responsible for decisions you make based on estimated nutrition, meal scores, coaching suggestions, or app-generated insights.

4. AI-Generated Content

Some parts of the Service may use AI or automated systems. AI-generated content can be helpful, but it may be wrong, incomplete, outdated, or not appropriate for your situation. You agree not to rely on AI-generated content as professional medical, nutritional, legal, financial, or safety advice. You are responsible for your own choices and actions. We may update, improve, modify, limit, or remove AI features at any time.

5. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Savor. If you are under the age of majority in your location, you may use the Service only with permission from a parent or legal guardian. By using Savor, you represent that you have the legal authority to agree to these Terms.

6. Accounts

You may need to create an account or sign in using supported login methods to access certain features. You are responsible for keeping your account information accurate and secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. If you believe your account has been accessed without permission, contact us at management@2genmedia.com. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, misuse the Service, attempt to reverse engineer the app, abuse payment systems, or create risk for other users, the Company, or the Service.

7. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases

Savor may offer paid subscriptions, free trials, promotional access, or other in-app purchases. Subscription options, prices, trial lengths, and billing periods may vary by country, platform, promotional offer, and time. Current subscription offerings may include weekly and yearly plans. The exact price, billing period, trial length, and renewal terms are shown on the purchase screen before you confirm your purchase. If you purchase through the Apple App Store, your purchase is processed by Apple and is subject to Apple's payment terms, subscription terms, and App Store policies. We do not directly control Apple billing, refunds, or subscription cancellation.

8. Free Trials

Savor may offer a free trial to eligible users. Unless canceled before the trial ends, the subscription will automatically renew and you will be charged according to the plan you selected. Only one free trial may be available per user, Apple ID, device, account, or payment method, depending on Apple's rules and our subscription provider's rules. We may change, remove, or limit free trial offers at any time.

9. Auto-Renewal and Cancellation

Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled before the end of the current billing period or trial period. To cancel a subscription purchased through Apple, you must manage your subscription through your Apple ID subscription settings. Deleting the app or deleting your Savor account does not automatically cancel your Apple subscription. You are responsible for canceling your subscription before renewal if you do not want to continue.

10. Restore Purchases

If you purchased a subscription through Apple and reinstall the app, change devices, or lose access to paid features, you may use "Restore Purchases" to ask Apple and our subscription system to check for an active subscription connected to your Apple ID. Restoring purchases does not create a new subscription. It only attempts to recover an existing active purchase.

11. Refunds

Refund requests for purchases made through Apple must be handled by Apple. We do not control Apple's refund decisions. We may, at our discretion and where technically possible, assist with account access or subscription verification, but we cannot guarantee refunds.

12. Promo Codes and Referral Access

Savor may offer referral codes, promotional codes, bypass codes, discounts, or special access at our discretion. We may change, limit, expire, revoke, or refuse promotional access at any time if we believe it is being misused or if required for technical, legal, or business reasons. Promo codes have no cash value and may not be sold, transferred, or exchanged unless we expressly allow it.

13. User Content

You may upload, enter, or submit content to the Service, including meal photos, food descriptions, body metrics, preferences, goals, notes, feedback, or other information ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content. By using the Service, you give us permission to process, store, analyze, display, and use your User Content as needed to operate, improve, personalize, protect, and provide the Service. You represent that you have the rights needed to submit your User Content and that your User Content does not violate any law, privacy right, intellectual property right, or these Terms.

14. Meal Photos and Food Images

If you upload food or meal photos, you are responsible for the images you submit. You should not upload images that include private personal information, illegal content, explicit content, or content you do not have permission to use. We may process meal photos to identify foods, estimate nutrition, generate meal scores, and improve app functionality.

15. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: - Use the Service for illegal, harmful, abusive, or fraudulent purposes. - Use the Service to provide medical diagnosis or professional health services to others. - Upload content that is unlawful, harmful, hateful, explicit, infringing, or misleading. - Attempt to hack, disrupt, overload, scrape, copy, reverse engineer, or interfere with the Service. - Bypass paywalls, subscriptions, security systems, rate limits, or access controls. - Use automated tools, bots, or scripts without our permission. - Misrepresent your identity or payment status. - Use the Service in a way that could harm Savor, other users, our partners, or our systems.

16. Health, Fitness, and Weight Goals

Savor may help users track goals related to weight, body composition, energy, focus, sleep, skin, fitness, and wellness. Any scores, forecasts, suggestions, or plans are general estimates and should not be treated as guaranteed results. Results vary by person. We do not promise that you will lose weight, gain muscle, improve energy, improve focus, improve sleep, improve skin, or achieve any specific health outcome.

17. Food Allergies and Safety

Savor is not an allergy safety tool. The Service may fail to detect ingredients, allergens, cross-contamination risks, unsafe foods, or preparation details. Do not rely on Savor to determine whether food is safe for you to eat. If you have allergies, sensitivities, or dietary restrictions, verify ingredients directly and consult qualified professionals when needed.

18. Data and Privacy

Your use of Savor is also governed by our Privacy Policy, available at: https://savorapp.us/privacy-policy The Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share information. By using the Service, you agree to our Privacy Policy.

19. Account Deletion

You may request or use available in-app tools to delete your Savor account. Account deletion may remove or anonymize certain account data from our active systems, subject to legal, security, fraud-prevention, backup, billing, and compliance needs. Deleting your Savor account does not automatically cancel subscriptions purchased through Apple. You must cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID settings.

20. Third-Party Services

Savor may rely on third-party services for authentication, hosting, analytics, AI processing, subscriptions, payments, databases, app distribution, crash reporting, or other functions. These third parties may include services such as Apple, Google, Supabase, Superwall, OpenAI, and other providers. Your use of third-party services may be subject to their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services, outages, decisions, errors, or policies.

21. App Stores

If you download Savor from the Apple App Store or another app marketplace, you also agree to that store's rules and terms. The app store provider is not responsible for providing support for Savor unless required by law. For Apple users, Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you where applicable.

22. Intellectual Property

The Service, including the Savor name, logo, design, software, features, text, graphics, scoring systems, templates, app flows, content, and other materials, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from the Service unless we give written permission.

23. Feedback

If you send us ideas, suggestions, bug reports, or feedback, you allow us to use them without restriction or compensation. We may use feedback to improve Savor or develop new features.

24. Changes to the Service

We may update, modify, suspend, limit, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. Features may change, become paid, become unavailable, or be removed. We are not liable for any change, interruption, or discontinuation of the Service.

25. Beta Features

Some features may be experimental, beta, incomplete, or not fully accurate. Beta features may change or be removed at any time and may contain errors.

26. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, non-infringement, and availability. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, accurate, or suitable for your needs.

27. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Savor, 2Gen Media, and our owners, employees, contractors, partners, service providers, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, including loss of data, loss of profits, health outcomes, personal injury, subscription issues, or reliance on app-generated information. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid to us for the Service in the three months before the claim arose, or $50, whichever is greater. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some limitations may not apply to you.

28. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Savor, 2Gen Media, and our owners, employees, contractors, partners, service providers, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from your use of the Service, your User Content, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

29. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if we believe you violated these Terms, created risk, misused the Service, failed to pay, abused promotions, or engaged in harmful conduct. You may stop using the Service at any time. Certain sections of these Terms will continue after termination, including ownership, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification, and dispute provisions.

30. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, United States, without regard to conflict of law rules, unless a different law is required by your local jurisdiction.

31. Dispute Resolution

Before filing a claim, you agree to first contact us at management@2genmedia.com and try to resolve the issue informally. We will try to resolve disputes fairly and quickly. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Connecticut, unless applicable law requires another forum.

32. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we may notify you by updating the effective date, posting notice in the app, sending an email, or using another reasonable method. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
